Bio:
Mikko Hyvönen is a choreographer and performer based in Helsinki, Finland. He is interested in the relationships between the performers and audience members, circulation of energy and concepts around transformations and natural and supernatural phenomena.
Since graduating from P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels in 2010 Mikko has been working as a choreographer, performer and collaborator with various constellations of artists. Currently as a choreographer he’s working with KOSMOS project that was selected as part of the SPARKS programme of Dance House Helsinki. His latest choreographic works have been crystal pieces: human beings in collaboration with Dance Company Off/Balance, solo work Organic synthetic and choreography for a performance by Lauri Sallinen called Solitude.
